**Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. **
No

I've posted this to BambuStudios GitHub as well but will most likely get a big F.U. from the devs there.

This is more for the Bambu X series since it allows multi-plate projects to be stored on the SD card. Not sure what other vendors allow the same. I know the P1S only allows single plate projects, at least from what I've seen using my Wife's P1S from the LCD.

Which printers will be beneficial to this feature?

Describe the solution you'd like

Describe the solution you'd like
As it stands now, when you slice a project that has vastly differing materials you get a warning and the slice fails. This, however, should not really occur when said objects are on DIFERRENT plates! The warning is unnecessary and should only appear if said objects are on the SAME plate which WOULD result in the issues mentioned in the warning. If you are printing with a new plate, even in the same project the PREVIOUS filaments are unloaded and the NEW filaments are loaded anyhow. SO WHY the error????

Describe alternatives you've considered

Describe alternatives you've considered
Creating and uploading separate projects which takes up unnecessary space and does not provide a smooth workflow requiring splitting a project where it isn't required.

Additional context

Additional context
This would also allow for a SINGLE multi-plate project to be created for models that you want to print in different materials to match certain use cases and will provide a cleaner organization of your projects instead of having multiple projects of the same model for each material. Since the LCD truncates the project name, just appending PLA or PETG, etc to the project name may not be cut off or require them to be PREPENDED to the name. Just poor workflow!
