LEAN CLI Data Updates #1815

Expected Behavior

On Lean CLI > Datasets > Format and Storage, we have an section explaining that these files:

  • data/market-hours/market-hours-database.json
  • data/symbol-properties/symbol-properties-database.csv
    are automatically updated daily.

To disable these updates, file-database-last-update in lean.json must be set to a future date, e.g., 01/01/2099.

Actual Behavior

We don't let users know that we update some LEAN data.
