How you might use GitHub as a team? Or how do you already use it? If you already use it, how would you like to use it differently or better? What are some things that need to happen to use it differently or better?

  • Will we use it? It could be a good tool but with current programs, crossover may be difficult. Some successes.
  • May be more user friendly/functionality
  • What if things are accidentally published? Concerns of confidentiality
  • To use it differently or better, user learning needs to improve. Increased interface. Knowing how to search through existing programs, etc.
  • There may be more edits to redo an existing program than to write your own.
  • May use the inspiration of an existing program.
  • Looking at common data points as a place to start, or what works for others.

Do you have a particular goal or task? Do you mainly want to discuss issues to gain more clarity to define future goals by discussing workflow? Do you mainly want to learn about the Openscapes mindset and how other groups are applying it?
Something else?

  • A data checker that can review data and report red flags.
  • Gives a good start of where to look, focused on requirements.
  • May use the inspiration of an existing program to create a new pathway.
  • We are interested in the project!!!
