When I do, “What time is it in (location)” with the volume turned low or off, my only feedback is, naturally, visual. I see the clock change to indicate the answer to my question. A few seconds later, the clock changes back to local time. That’s the only information on screen.

It’s gorgeous, but if I weren’t looking at the screen, I might not know whether it’s switched back yet. Not a problem for a faraway time zone, nor for a familiar place. But if I’m asking about a city two regions over, or a place nearby that observes an odd offset, I might get confused.

It might be good for clarity if the time displayed by that intent also displayed a label, indicating the place. That would also help users notice mismatches, like if someone asks for “Portland” and gets the wrong Portland.
