Support Deeper fishfinder. #176

Thanks! |
Hi The product is called deeper. Here is a video about the solution. Worth to note is that the application has an backup to gdrive functionality. This will dump an sqlite database file on you google drive. My version is a pro+ and that version has a builtin gps. You can probably also use the cheaper standard version and use the phone gps if the phone is at the same location. My plan is to measure natural harbors around Stockholm in sweden. I already uploaded a demo file I created by putting the sonar on a fishing rood. |
Hi Johan, sounds good!
Please can you send me a test file by mail? |
Here are some sample data of the deeper backup files. They are sqlite databases. I think the table "Measurement" is the most important. |
I also have a deeper and would like to share my Maps in OSM. Let me know if I can support with providing some sample data. |
Welcome to OpenSeaMap :-) |
Hello, You might be interested in the Deeper Chirp+ as it supports NMEA0183 over UDP / WiFI https://support.deeper.eu/284760-Extracting-NMEA0183-data-over-UDP-port-Deeper-CHIRP-model-only. Johannes |
I have a deeper fishfinder and it collects GPS and depth data into a Sqlite database. It is already building a topographic chart of any area where I use it. I believe data like this would be very useful for openseamap.
It costs around $250 so I would expect this to be a popular solution in the future.
