I agree: The recommondation using quadmesh instead for non-equiformated 2D data results in a strange shading of colors. Its not a real solution in my eyes... https://stackoverflow.com/questions/72448687/python-using-hvplot-quadmesh-for-xarray-data-shows-blendedcolors-in-a-plot
