There still is not a solution for this, even when supplying a huge rtol.
If using quadmesh, then rasterize is not applicable, also performance is worse.

I agree: The recommondation using quadmesh instead for non-equiformated 2D data results in a strange shading of colors. Its not a real solution in my eyes...
