I am new to 3d printing and I have the Elegoo Neptune 3 (regular version). I am up and running and also using Octoprint. I started looking into Host Action Commands and saw that they were enabled in firmware V1_1.0.5-Beta. My printer also have a runout sensor that came with the printer but when i look into the terminal window from Octoprint is says "Recv: Cap:RUNOUT:0" Is the runout not turned on in the firmware? i have also tested this to see if it would trigger a filament change, or pause or something but after the filament passes through the runout sensor and then the extruder it just keeps trying to print. I know the sensor has power because i can see the lights on it when i load filament. Can this feature be turned on? is there an newer firmware for this printer? does this printer support M600? I have seen newer versions of Marlin but i am too new to this world and do not want to brick my printer doing something stupid.
