Attempting to set layout constraints programmatically, e.g.:
checkbox.translatesAutoresizingMaskIntoConstraints = false checkbox.leadingAnchor.constraint(equalTo: self.view.leadingAnchor, constant: 25).isActive = true
results in a sort of plus symbol ("+") being rendered at [0,0].
