today i tried the voice communication with agora and it worked well. but would it be possible to integrate jitsi meet for voice and video call and screensharing? normally for that you only need an url of the conference which you can send to the customer on the other end. you could also send it by chat but it would also be nice if it would have been integrated in the chat window like you developed it with the agora account. so you should have a button which creates a random url for the jitsi meet conference. does someone know how to do / code it?

If that's just a making rest api call and using link, it can be done without any development at all :) But I'm not a jitsi expert :)

in jitsi meet you only need an url which contains a room name. this name have to be a random string (e.g. >16 random letters and numbers, should be uniqe and unguessable) for security. you can also pass arguments in the url for setting up the parameters of jitsi meet conference system.

here is an example, the randomroomstring will be the name for the conference which is shared between the participents and after # you can pass config parameters e.g. you can mute the camera or you can pass the names (there are many parameters you can pass). you can try it here with this link, just open the link on two different browsers:

or try this for bob and sally with passing the argument "displayName" on two different browsers:
bob's url:

or with this url you can determine that only phone, video call and desktop sharing is active:

so it would be nice to have a button in the chat gui which creates such random links, so that jitsi meet functionality is integrated in the live helper chat. i don't know how difficult it is to implement this in your code.

ok, thanks a lot, that would be great, because jitsi meet is a real good conference system with many functions which can also be self-hosted like your lhc. so you would have a very good combination and alternative to agora.

i followed your integration guide but i get this, so it doesn't show the url it only shows "intro_op readmore_op" after entering bot command "!jitsi":

do i have to change something else?

Forgot to tell, you need to update lhc... You will not need to do manually anything just import a trigger :)

you are right. after deleting the browser cache and reloading it now shows the random string. well done.

And random hash is per chat. You can change that via bot trigger also :)

i installed lhc only few days ago and used it for the first time and such more advanced bot settings are a bit too complicated for me at the moment. i didn't know about this bot functionality before today.

If you uncheck this one. Each time operator writes a command it would generate unique link :)

perfect. i'm very glad to have this jitsi integration now. i detected one little thing. in the bot constructor you should replace all " with " in the [url] and [html] block, because without this " the " is missing in the url and jitsi meet need this " to parse the url correctly - please adapt it like this:
