Your question does not make sense, because code sample is for Rest API, and you asking about javacsript. Impossible to understand what you are trying to achieve.

Is it possible to format the return of a date from the REST API?

Which I get through (PS I love this implementation on the LHC):

payment_date comes in the format yyyy-mm-dd

I want it in dd/mm/yyyy format

Is it possible to format this date in the LHC or should it already come formed from the API?
