1. Summary

It would be nice, if Keyferret will have an option — enable some features for all keyboard layouts, not solely for US/UK; so that users shouldn't have switch layouts each time.

2. Documentation

From official Keyferret site:

If you're up for it, you can edit the layout file to add other layouts, symbols and characters (probably necessary if you want to support non US/UK keyboards).

But I can't find in Keyferret file any instructions, how I must edit the layout files.

Yes, I read “Layouts” page, but it not about my request.

3. Argumentation

I have 2 keyboard layouts: English and Russian. When I wrote Russian texts, I often need some Keyferret features (see section below). I need switch keyboard layout to English → apply Keyferret feature → switch to Russian. It may take a lot of time.

4. Features

That I need:

  1. accènt,
  2. superscript (¹⁴),
  3. subscript (₁₄),
  4. fractions (⅐).

As you can see, examples doesn't contain Latin letters.

5. Current behavior

For example, I want to have added accent to Кира word (Кѝра).

I switch keyboard layout → AltGr+` → I switch keyboard layout again → I can contain write Russian text.

6. Expected behavior

AltGr+` → I can contain write Russian text.

Thanks.
