Package distribution via platform mechanisms #145

Since SMTK is a library, not an application, we should strive to distribute it via the de facto software distribution channels each platform uses.

Desirable features

Host bottled versions of packages for HomeBrew and Fedora RPMS. Maybe on data.kitware.com?
Have buildbot generate per-merge binaries as snapshots plus per-tag release versions.
Sign packages with a Kitware key.
Sign git release tags with Kitware key.
Test packages on fresh VM before uploading?

For Fedora, I can create a copr for it if wanted.

@mathstuf Copr sounds good. Does kitware have a FAS account so people can dnf copr enable kitware/smtk?

Currently, no. The docs don't state it, but the account might need to be a "packager" and getting it permissions for that would be…tricky.

@bradking What do you think about setting a Kitware FAS up? Contact sysadmin?
