switched to the autotools build system in the hope to make things more portable (at least in the POSIX world)
new and improved inkscape extension for exporting polygons for use in PVMOS
added function to integrare the surface area of a certain area
Changed adaptive meshing routines to allow elements to be split several times in one run

added mechanism to expose data fields within a mesh to the scripting
environment. Using this system you can now
- access solar cell parameters (replaces the now obsolute define_solpar command)
- get the mesh bounding box
- access Simulation results by index number.
- delete simulation results by index number
added cleanupmesh command to remove unused areas
Made it such that selecting elements sets a variable Nel. In combination
with if statements it is possible to only operate on a selection if there
were elements selected. This also means that making an empty selection
will not throw an error anymore.
Added polygon operations like scaling and rotation
Matched the scaling rotation and move operations to meshes to match
the syntax for polygons
Improved performance for the windows version by replacing the default malloc routines
by Doug Lea's dlmalloc. Seems to not work with all mingw versions though. The latest
mingw versions (gcc version 5.2) produce code which either does not work or runs slow.
Added while loops and if/else statements.
Possibility to invert a selection of elements
Command to delete elements from a mesh
added routines and commands to add rows and columns to a mesh.
The routines take one side of a mesh, which must be straight
(i.e. vertical or horizontal) and adds one element to each
element on that side. Properties are copied. Meshes should not
have holes. This change allows creating rectilinear meshes

Changed selection routines to be able to select a sub-set of the selected nodes
Added a function to select nodes per area (very useful in combination with the first point)
Added the remove meshvar command to delete obsolete meshes (saves memory)
added mkpvmosmesh, an octave library for writing PVMOS meshes
added variable number of electrodes, i.e. PVMOS is a full 3D solver now!
this should enable:
- 3D simulations of conduction in a thick electrode
- simulation of tandem devices with conductive contacts between the component cells
including e.g. shunts oon only one component cell
- inperfections in electrode on electrode systems (e.g. metal grids with fingers
which are disconnected from the base electrode)
folowing has been implemented:
- I can add electrodes in a mesh
- Specify electrode properties and inter-electrode connections
- all electrodes can be connected to the positive node or ground
changed the initialization of the solution vector from previous data, saves some work in solving the system in some cases
added deselect to deselect a selection within a mesh
