This is a regression from change ca9bbe4.

Using attribute languages including default language 0 it's missing in the menu now.
In getLanguagesFromSysLanguage the default language is added in any case:
https://github.com/FluidTYPO3/vhs/blob/development/Classes/ViewHelpers/Page/LanguageMenuViewHelper.php#L370

This is missing in getLanguagesFromSiteConfiguration.
