Sorry, I'm not sure where I should post this issue, here or in the Creatura mod. Anyway, its just a suggestion, not a serious issue, because increasing mobs spawn distance and playing around with other settings actually helps to make it better. |
I've implemented a new spawning system that should reliably spawn mobs when the world is generated (~10s delay because of ABMs). But I'll leave this open for now so people can leave feedback. |
The spawner in your mod is implemented much better than in any other alternative mods, but it still feels unnatural to me. Let's conduct an experiment - go to an open empty field, sit there, and move away from the computer for 5-10 minutes. When you come back, almost magically, you will most likely find a herd of cows, a herd of bulls, a couple of rabbits, and so on around you. I think, Mobs should spawn in new locations for the player when they travel, rather than simply falling from the sky while they're sitting!
