After some datasets have been collected (see #43) and uploaded to the Black History Month project page (which is here) or to this project page, we need to analyze and visualize the data to help tell stories. This is an open ended issue, whatever you think might be a compelling or interesting story to tell would be great!

A direct quote from our NILC partner, @pato1974:

Even if [D4D] simply made some compelling graphics of the data presented in this report that would be something that NILC and our partners (particularly UndocuBlack and BAJI) could use over the course of the month on social media. This is even more critical now because Trump wants to get rid of diversity visas and has been eliminating TPS for Haitians, Sudanese and a host of other mostly Black nations.

Hi there! I'd like to collaborate on this project and provide visualizations using the datasets gathered. I do this type of work on a daily basis back at my company. I have access to Power BI and R. Is there a preference for any sort of tool? Likewise, is there a timeline for deliverables? Thank you!

@pato1974 Happy to help on the visualizations front as well.
I've been looking for a project to get my feet wet in this community. I have data analysis experience in Pandas and Data Viz experience in Tableau, Power BI, and more recent experience in Python's data viz libraries (matplotlib, seaborn, plotly)
@OrlandoGonzalez , let me know how we can collab on this!
