Telescopic cylinders

Visualize the different ways a set of telescopic cylinders can expand and contract. Different ways could be; contract from the end first; contract from the base first; contract uniformly along each cylinder. Allow customization so each cylinder section has it's own width, length and maximum and minimum extensions from it's parent.
