Hi. I've run into this annoying soft-lock where i can no longer use OpenHMD with SteamVR because SteamVR keeps booting up into Safe-mode when the OpenHMD's configs are registered. The thing is, safe-mode does this weird thing were it recognizes the headset, then disables the addons so i can't even go into addons and disable safe mode when i have the config's registered.
This was due to my computer crashing when i tried to run some more intensive applications through steamvr, but now i am completely locked in.
I have followed all troubleshooting steps i've been able to find as well as a complete reinstallation of steam, steamvr and SteamVR-OpenHMD.
I am completely lost on how to fix this issue, so i was wondering if maybe any of you guys had any ideas on how to fix it?
I can provide specs and a system report from SteamVR if that would be useful.
My headset is a Oculus DK2, btw.

@zebbeK by any chance are you on Ubuntu and are not able to do anything on the steamvr dashboard? I think it’s an Ubuntu problem since as of last night when I updated I am not able to use steamVR at all, nor disable addons - regardless of whether my HMD is plugged in.
