@soerenmetje, this is not straight-forward to fix and may not be resolved soon. The root cause of the problem is that Singularity/Apptainer does not provide such functionality, unless containers are run as "instances". However, it seems that the whole "instance" functionality is relatively immature for now and non-compatible with how HPK runs images. We are monitoring Singularity/Apptainer releases for developments that may allow running commands in the container context and keep this issue open as a reminder.
