The feature of Importer V1 to update existing records could have been very useful but I never got it to work. Has it been dropped from V2 permanently?

@kitenetter there is an "Allow updates" option on the page configuration which is currently disabled. Let me know if OK to enable it?

My only reservation about enabling this is that it isn't fully tested and we don't have any guidance for its use. If a brief line of help text can be added on the page that would be good, e.g.:
"This feature is being tested, please contact iRecord if you need to use it to update a set of records."

@DavidHepper would that be okay from your perspective, in that it would be possible to try it out and you could let us know of any problems?

An alternative would be to enable it on the test version of the site and provide David with a link. This would link to the live database but would allow it to be tested without making it available for others.

I think that would be better. I would feel more comfortable if we can clarify how best to make use of it before promoting it more widely. If you can implement it on the test site I will then add an issue for Robin and I to test and write up some guidance (including any feedback from David).
