All aircraft had reached their default altitude of 1500m and were just circling, yet the competition would never progress.

The aircraft in question were 3 biplanes flying at around 150 m/s.

v0.10.4.1

I've had a similar issue except mine was "Sending pilots to start position"
this is seemingly AI related, and I suspect it will be fixed in the next couple releases.

Also occasionally I get it to where it says "Competition Starting" the pilots never turn to engage. Usually restarting the competition a few times fixes this, otherwise try restarting the flight.

If you were using an older version of Aviator Arsenal, the issue was caused by the antenna part missing the Wing Command module.

Yeah, aviator arsenal. That must have been it.
