The dichotomy between paying the bills vs dedicating time to work on this
project is quite the challenge. There are a slew of new features and
improments planned, but finding a sponsor that can fund this activity has
been tough. Given that the project has seen a significant uptick of
activity in the last few months, we'll start contributing some more of our
personal time to test all the PRs, merge, and cut a new release.
If anyone has any ideas on how we can secure some funding to support
ongoing development of this project that would be greatly appreciated!
Stay tuned. In the next week or so we should see a new release.

Firstly, great product, thanks for releasing it.
Given that:
- there are a number of open issues and PR's
- the last commit was over a year ago (in both the master and develop
branches)
- the last release was nearly 2 years ago
- output from AdaptiveScale seems to have ceased (as far as social
streams are concerned)
- @nbesimi <https://github.com/nbesimi> and @ailegion
<https://github.com/ailegion> appear to have been inactive on github
for the last year
Is this project still being developed/maintained?

@vhajdari The Slack link expired, can you please post a new one? |
Well, security patches are not even commented and a simple question like this is not answered for months. Yea seems abandoned to me. A simple notice in the readme would be great, something like "do not use this in production, its currently abandoned". Maybe throw a "looking for a maintainer" in there too, there are probably people out there who have the time and would do it, after all there are plenty of people submitting PRs... |
